The BedRobber is a simple tie.  It rides hook down and can be modified to use smaller lead eyes for some weight if needed. 

In the past couple years, I’ve been able to break out of that routine and venture farther north into Montana…and I’m glad I have. 

After making the long drive and meeting up with friends in Kanab, we made it into camp at dark.  The next morning we packed up and started humping the boats down the trail.  Just over the first rise a couple hundred yards from camp we were greeted by a rather large black bear that jumped out of the brush and onto the trail.
